How was your experience with Mini Jam?
I should manage my time a little better haha
I liked the fishing idea, but I did get a little frustrated with the hook flinging upward and taking forever to settle back down again. I also couldn't get the yellow fish bait to catch anything.
Also, it would've been nice to get a level-up screen whenever that happened. I wasn't sure if there was a point where you "won" the game or if it went on forever.
The music doesn't fit well and the walls don't have collision. I ended up seeing a some out of bounds areas due to the momentum I got with the rod mechanics. Despite this it was all really fun to play. Also before fish teleport/disappear they should have some sort of fade effect.
The music is bothering me. I don't think it suits the tranquility that fishing gives to people. The fishing is kinda tedious since I have to click over and over to reel. I think holding the key down would've been a better choice for that matter. The art is pretty unique though and the hillbilly sure looks like he's going to have a nice dinner tonight with all that fish in there.
Good, it is a bit difficult to handle at first but after a few minutes it is achieved well!
I like the base idea, but the mechanics really feel off (or I just couldn’t control it :D). Maybe polish the game a bit and it will be really nice. Anyways, cool submission!
