Very cool, but quite challenging ( I couldn't get passed the mosquito boss thing). I love being able to clear all the bullets and how cool all the bubbles look. Movement feels good, and the bullet patterns were fun to dodge. Great job.
Very difficult but the fun come from how hard it is! great work!
I’m glad that you liked it!! Thank you :)
Wow this is a really polished bullet hell game!!! using the lilly pad as the boundary for grazing bullets was a really cool idea too!! Loved the art and had a lot of fun playing this!!! Amazing work!! :D
Thank you so much! My partner had made the player sprite while I was programming the logic, and without even mentioning it to one another we made the graze area and the lilypad be the exact same size. It was fate! Haha
I’m really glad you enjoyed it! :)
really, really fun and juicy, it had a very nice arcade feel
Thank you! I feel like I spent longer adjusting the particle effects and strength of the shakes more than I did actually coding the boss fights haha. I’m glad you enjoyed it!!
Oh, took me a little bit to get the hang of, but really made me nostalgic for some Frogger.. but in space!
Fun fact: a title in consideration for the game was “Frogger: Now with a Gun”
I’m glad you liked it! Bullet hells are always weird in game jams since it’s not a super popular genre (I feel), so I’m glad you could enjoy it!!
