Wow ver complex game, but also very hard, i dint understand how to play, but was impressed by generation and physics, great job!!
Honestly this is a staggering amount of great game design for a game jam game! The bombs destroying the buildable planet surface, making planets more dangerous, but also being used to launch you and gather resources is so brilliant and elegant! And the resource management feels just right. Once you get the hang of the lunar lander controls it starts to feel really good to plan a route and control your ship.
People really need to invest the time to enjoy this. It's a slower paced and more thoughtful game than I realised initially going in but there's so much here, the more I played the more I fell in love! With a graphical update and some ironing out of the kinks I could easily see myself playing this game for hours :)
Fantastic work!
Such a nice and thoughtful comment. Thank you so much, it means a lot!
Fun game and the space generation is sick, but the camera movement made me feel sick after a while
I found a planet, and then landed in a hole I made and got stuck. My fuel went negative, and I couldn't place any of the objects. This is a neat concept that could do with some more playtesting to become a great game once you iron out the issues.
You can use bombs to get yourself unstuck from holes. You have to be landed upright to place objects. Fuel <= 0 over time will cause a loss after ~ 10 seconds. Negative fuel is definitely an issue though! Thanks for playing!
Just pushed an update that fixes all issues brought up :) thanks for letting me know!
Nice concept, but I really wish the controls were easier to master. I keep on missing the planets :)
However, I am really, really, really impressed with your solar system and planet generation!
Thank you so much! I appreciate it :)
Yeah the controls are kinda iffy, there was so much to add though so i wasnt sure what to do!
