I love the trippy style of the game. Music is great, i like the sound when you change area, when music rapidly changing with this portal sound it gives cool disturbing vibes,:) Mechanics are simple but working, in some stage the music start glitching and then stopped playing, but considering strange atmosphere of your game I am not sure if its a bug or the feature here, which is kinda clever :D

Loved it I killed the spawner in 664 seconds but is that the end? Love how the janky stuff work in favor of the game instead of against. Great vibes and balanced diffculty though I would have liked some bit more checkpoints. Double jump is truly the ultimate weapon in metroidvania

A fun game. Overall, I liked it. The music is too loud, but cool, it's also cool that the game has a sense of complexity and confusion.

Freaking love it. This has the most bizarre vibe in the best kind of way; everything about it just oozes a style and sensibility that I'm in love with. I could keep playing (and dying) for a thousand years and I would not tire of it.

That said, dying for a thousand years and ending up in the same spot every time does get a little tedious. I'd love some checkpoints or something. I kind of get the feel you're going for with the timer and death counter, but I think, especially for the sake of this being playable and easily rated as a jam entry, it would be really nice to have something to make it so every death isn't so punishing.

I also kept having an issue where the music would suddenly disappear. Like, it would start kind of stuttering and popping and then it would just cut out completely. I restarted one time because there was no way I was playing without listening to that fascinatingly funky music. But when it happened a second time, I had to just keep going without it. Playing the browser version in Chrome if that helps at all.

Anyway, I really do love this. Didn't end up finishing it, but the chances I'll come back to keep playing are astronomical. I sincerely hope you have plans of continuing development with this. It's so great!

Engaging soundtracks! The game exuded a sense of urgency, compelling me to pick up the pace, which I thoroughly enjoyed. My only suggestion would be to reconsider the restart-from-the-beginning mechanic, especially in a game with frequent deaths. Nonetheless, a commendable effort overall!

Liked it. Music fit great with overall theme. Had a bit of a hard time with the controls, and dying bringing you back to the beginning was a bit frustrating. Some paths were not backtrackable as far as I know, so your only solution was dying. But the overall consistency in the them was good and 10/10 character sprites (leaves his hands in the air when he lands). Nice one!

Fun game. The mechanics were nice and the theme was a cool idea. I liked the sound design as well where each level has a different version of the song that fits the theme. I especially liked the first level's music, I just hung out there for a bit listening to it lol. Well Done!
