Three hits to the top of his head should put it back into the ground.
And yeah, usually that situation would resolve itself with you dying, but since you're immortal for now, you end up stuck :/
Intriguing game! It appeared you were aiming for segmented areas with boss battles, which is a compelling concept. However, I encountered an issue where neither I could inflict damage on the enemies nor could they harm me. Something to look into, but the foundation seems promising!

Yes, we wanted to explore the basics of the genre, so we concentrated on bosses that give you new abilities, and didn't have time to add in the grunts :P
Can you tell me which boss you couldn't inflict damage on?
The boss I'm referring to was on the bottom right side. I believe it looked like... an onion? It reminded me of Cuphead! :D

Very cute art syle! I couldn't quite figure what I was doing. Some explanation of the controls would be nice, even just on the game page. Enter seemed to let me shoot, but I couldn't tell if it was actually doing anything?
I see it's a demo, so I'd be curious to see the direction it goes in!
