Things I Would Change:

• center player more on the screen, lots of jump/etc are below where you can see & have the camera lead the player in the direction it is going

Broken Stuff:

• can “double jump” to get extra height & can probably sequence break from this

Good visuals. Nice colors and very nice parallax scrolling of backgrounds. The controls are pretty smooth, and the attack feels appropriately hefty. I also like the density of platforming decisions on every screen... it's an engaging little world.

However, it feels a little too hard, a little too soon.

It would be helpful to have some more feedback when the player gets hit, for example some knockback. 

Lastly, it would be nice to have a delay of 1-2 seconds after death and before respawning.

Great game I especially liked the visuals and the soundtrack.

I was a little annoyed with the skull boss, it felt like the character's range was a little too short. But I had fun, fighting the small enemies, I liked the life indicators and the knockback felt good. :)

love this music! I think the game would benefit, if you zoom view a bit :D I like fighting here and sound of dying is cool (yeah, I heard it a lot of times :D)

Love the level design and overall style. Controls are tricky!
