Dude, you definitely should have won. You're game is hands down superior!

Pretty heartpounding stuff. The enemy really cheated by busting out from a closet that I was coming out from though. LOL! Didn't watch those movies as they don't seem like my kind of movie anyway, but great mashup! I guess one quibble will be the protagonist's deadpan looks which doesn't suggest that he's in danger. Audio was well done as well and hit all the right spots.

Darn, the facial expression on the protagonist was actually something that was /planned/ on being a bit more dynamic, but I just didn't have the time. Thanks for playing though, glad you enjoyed it!

The ambience is very well done. (The ennemy in the closet really scared me).

But I got killed because I didn't know what to do and I don't to play it again because it scares me too much.

I'll take the fact you were too scared to keep playing as a compliment! Thanks for playing :)

I've played through this a couple of times because there's one room I never explore. Each time I get scared by the scissorman. It's impressively atmospheric and scarey.  Also, I appreciate the Lynchian tag.

Developer

Awesome, I'm glad you liked it enough to play through more than once :)

Addition to my comment. Check out the gameplay of other art games. They have multiple interesting fun interactions in them at short intervals between eachother. I believe if you add that to your game this could become a master piece! Check this out for inspiration :

Atmosphere incredibly well done.
Gameplay wasn't fun, just walking around seeing clips of a movie pretty much.  Would have liked to see some surprising twists in gameplay or just something to keep me playing. Shortly after discovering the scary guy with scissors I hid in the closet. It came and went away again. I got really disappointed, because I thought it would do something more interesting like say a message or funny voice : Haaauhhh , seems he's gone, maybe he took the elevator?

Thanks for the feedback! Obviously there was more planned to the game (I was wanting to add in interactions with multiple NPCs, which led to multiple endings) but I just didn't have enough free time to add in everything I wanted. I'm glad you enjoyed the atmosphere though.

Wonderful game! I haven't seen Eraserhead but I love Clock Tower and had a great time with this one.

Developer

Thanks! You should absolutely watch Eraserhead. One of the strangest, and most unforgettable movies I've ever seen. It's certainly not for everyone, but absolutely worth watching.
