Super impressive game, I got an error partway through that froze it (playing on browser). I found it funny and entertaining, and a great idea, but it did feel a bit annoying with the level of randomness, or not going first in the boxing and not being able to do anything but get punched. Super impressive though, wow!

Really interesting concept, but I like the idea for the card-playing championing more than the execution. Most of my frustration comes from the randomness of it all, I couldn't get past the 2nd stage as I tried many times but the cards dealt to me felt like they never helped and I would lose in ~3 turns. I liked the atmosphere and the whole card-playing was done well, but it definitely could have done with more balancing. Good work though!
Very very solid. Love the low poly style and the concept is very cool. My biggest issue is you're at the mercy of randomness most of the time, and that's especially annoying given how long it takes to sit through the dialogue to retry a stage.
Thanks for the feedback, about the dialogue to retry a stage it is a problem on the webgl version, as my save state system is not working propperly on the browser, I'm trying to figure out whats is happening because some other people are also having trouble to advance from the 1st game, but in the downloadable version most of the dialogues will not play after the first intro.
Yes! A webgl build! Thank you Rudeiri! In terms of the game, I loved the graphics and dialog. The concept is great. I did find a lack of skill in the game since you dont really know what ur opponent will do. But I think the idea is amazing and the art style is great. I did experience a crash on webgl after the first one same as MoeLow but still just one level showed me this game is brilliant. Well done. :)
i enjoyed it, i was only able to play the first part as it would crash when starting the second part on web(i have a screenshot of the message that i can send you, i believe you can fix it since it does could as game breaking ) the boxing could use some balancing, there is some skill to it but it feels like mostly swing and pray you hit or you get lucky with a first strike, but overall really cool idea
wow ok... this is FANTASTIC!
this is so pretty for a game jam game. the dialogue is funny and the gameplay, while missing a bit of instructions, is brilliant.
You should feel really proud of what you did here, maybe my new favorite submission of the jam.
If your discouraged by the currently low review count, don't be. that's just due to people being skeptical of download games in our year 2024
Keep up the amazing work!
Very interesting idea. It also took me a bit to figure out that you must select 3 cards, but other than that it was very fun. I liked how the game changes up the rules to keep things interesting.
IDK if I was doing something wrong or not. I could play my first card. It said my opponent was acting first but he never played and i couldn't press any mouse or kb buttons to make it move forward. Props on the design though. If you update me on what i did wrong I'll give it another shot.
