PageUp key to toggle HUD. PageDown to shoot an arrow if the bow is equipped.
When you want to hunt deer for meat, equip a bow and find arrows.
When you want to fish, equip a spear.
Otherwise you should ALWAYS equip a pickaxe. It is the only thing that can hurt the Frozen Dead.
