At the very beginning of the game, I ran back and fell and could not get out. I had to restart the game. Then I went forward, stood on the platform and fell through it into the acid. My game was frozen for a while. And only after a while I died. Then I died a couple more times. And only now a ball began to appear at the start. This very ball is not visible because of the camera. It is very difficult to stand on the platform due to the mechanics of the character. As a result, I could not get through the game. Nerves too weak.

It is worth noting the good graphics. And a good soundtrack. If you work on the game mechanics, you can get a good project!

Thank you for the feedback, honestly we struggled quite a bit and personally I couldn't beat the game, my partner could but I could not. We are both first year game development students so a lot of the more technical stuff we are still learning and we are each focusing on level design and 3D modeling so the programming side is a little harder for us. Thank you for you comment though, we know where we need to improve and focus for the future :D

honestly had fun, the camera is annoying and the platforming is floaty and extremely difficult.

but I do feel the level design here is pretty nice and the art is impressive. checkpoints would have been a huge relief.

overall a nice project and if possible id love it if you could check out my game too :)))

We did have our own camera at the start but it broke and we could not get it working again so had to use a free asset and we didn't make it work that well. Checkpoints would have been a really good idea. Thank you for your kind words though, level design and art is what the 2 of us are focusing on so it's nice to hear we did good on those points.

understood! for future reference i think there is a free camera plug in you can download

oh thank you, I didn't know that. We were using cinemachine at first but I believe it broke in one of our pushes.

the transition from easy to hard is quite extreme and i would have appreciated a checkpoint before it gets hard, so i dont have to go though the easy beginning all the time just to try how to perform a jump, that is very hard to calculate. Also i would tune up the Turn Rate at which your character is rotating or add inputs to strive left and right. I ended up quitting the game, because i got too frustrated:(

Thank you for sharing your opinions, there is a lot we wanted to fix but ran out of time and were not currently capable of fixing, it was really hard though so thank you for trying our game out .
