This is a great clone! The controls are smooth and feel great. The only thing that was off were the trees when they first spawned in. It's great that the player is able to see them from a distance, but only the tops are noticeable. Other than that, it's great!

This is such a great clone, nearly everything is there! The only criticisms I have spare nitpicks, the trees are a bit strange when they first spawn, I dont think the sprite is the same, but like I said, thats a very small nitpick. It is a bit difficult to aim the bullets at the enemies, however.

I'm not sure why this stuck out to me, but I really enjoy that you included the detail of the wood grain texture of the trees becoming transparent when they get close. The feeling of the acceleration is pretty much accurate but not having the ability to rotate in space does take something away from the game that makes it feel like something different entirely.  Visually, its clear this is Deathchase, but being in an actual 3d space without the option to move in any direction is kind of the opposite of the original (fake 3d, can move anywhere).

I loved the visuals of this one. The new trees look awesome - although they did have some shadows on them occasionally. I think this is definitely missing something from the lack of rotational turning. I was also never able to hit the enemies so I don't know if that's because I was going too slow (I couldn't tell my speed bc there was no sound), or because the hitboxes are too small. Either way, visually impressive.
