Big fan! Unique gameplay loop and great presentation.
Thanks for checking the game out; I loved what you all did with your game as well, fantastic concept and aesthetics and is one of my favourite submissions! :) Cheers!
The comedic writing for the notes was really excellent: the admin powers one and all of the other fourth-wall breaks had me laughing out loud : D I wasn't expecting the twist on the last level lmao
This is a really charming game with a LOT of content (3 worlds, 15 levels?!?). Very impressive!
Thank you so much for your feedback and for checking out our game submission!!! I am so happy to hear you enjoyed playing through and our silly little gags and writing. It is always super fund grinding out games in shorter game jams and really is an opportunity to learn a lot while feeling well worth it. Thank you for playing!! :)
Amazing game, really fun and great little characters and art. Nice one!
Thank you so much for playing our submission and leaving a comment! Cheers! :)
Really cool game, a good balance of challenging and fun, also love the noises they make :D
>my roommate he hour before the gamejam deadline listening to me making funny noises
This was incredible! Really fun! Great art and sound effects, really great level design and puzzles too!
Thank you so much for playing! I am really glad you enjoyed our submission, cheers! :D
The gameplay was really interesting, it was super fun to build a chain of lemmings that throw each other
I am so glad you enjoyed our game—thank you so much for checking it out and leaving a comment! :D
Wow. If this doesn't win the jam, I'll eat my hat.
Thank you so much! There are so many great game submissions out there—what a great limitation to work with! :D
very cute and fun! A lot of trial and error but very enjoyable
Thank you so much for trying out game our and leaving your feedback! :D
This was a really good.
The leaping mechanics are creative and unexpected, but feel just right and played smoothly.
The lemmings artwork and sound was very cute
I might have missed a note, but it took me a long time to figure out you can toggle between your lemming types by pressing shift, so I got stuck on the 6th level for quite a while until I started pressing random keyboard keys 😋
I did get stuck on level 9, I know that I am supposed to do something to do with mirroring the world from the note, but I don't know how, or who Lemon is haha
Was a really good and entertaining game, I had fun playing it ^.^
Thank you so much for playing and leaving a detailed comment; We had some last minute bug issues with the gamejam rush, but I am so glad for the most part it went smoothly for your playthrough. Thank you so much for your kind words and enjoyment!.
Thanks, it means a lot to hear that it felt smooth and fun!
Regarding the Shift thing, it's not just you, I actually just messed up when assigning the notes to the rooms because there was supposed to be a note explaining that mechanic but it doesn't show up 😭 I've fixed it now, along with a couple other bugs, but I want to finish testing those changes before I patch the game (and don't want to fix too much before judging is over, in spirit of the jam and all).
The level you got stuck on is a really tricky one!! My love for cryptic puzzles kind of took over me like the green goblin mask while designing that one - the key to it is actually not to do with the mirror tool bit (that was just a gag about me copy-paste and mirroring the drawing of the lemming on the laptop) but actually the "slashing stick of forward" (or better put, "forward slash-ing stick" lol). Also the lemmings just write "lemon" in place of "lemmings" because they are silly little creatures.
It's always good to hear feedback and see what parts confuse people tho!! It's tricky finding a balance of "puzzle that makes you think, but gets solved" inbetween "extremely obvious solution" and "this literally makes no sense so I give up" 😅
Great job on this game. I loved the concept and the music really tied it all together. I also appreciate the difficulty, it kind of forces you to take your time and try to calculate your jumps rather than rush through it. The pointers at the end of each level also make you want to go back and do better. Great job overall!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!! Love to see a true gamer out here willing to take on a challenge lol
You know what? I really like this twist! And it's genuinely fun and challenging! The intro was hard to follow because the text disappeared too quick for a slow reader like me, and I kind of felt like it went on WAY longer than it needed to, but otherwise the game and concept are great!
Thank you so much for your feedback on the text speed! I am so glad to hear you enjoyed the overall concepts and challenge the game presented! Working with the limitation was so fun to try and balance using the notes. We appreciate you playing our game so much!
Cheers!
Programmer here: I'm really glad you liked the gameplay!! I ended up writing that opening cutscene on the final day and I totally agree with you on the opening. I was like "this goes soooo long" so I tried shortening how long the text bubbles appear for as much as I could while still being able to read them (slow reader myself as well lol) to try and make it feel less long. Given more time I would've hoped to strike a better balance with it and probably cut some lines, so thank you for your honesty!
Very fun game, I enjoyed playing it and following the notes. Great work!
Thank you so much for playing, I am happy to hear you enjoyed our submission!
Cheers!
Fun game, but the bounce mechanic feels a bit broken. Sometimes you aim to bounce upwards, but the lemming gets stuck on something and their colliders start overlapping. I think it would work better with just one lemming that gradually jumps further. Whenever I lost a single lemming, I had to restart the level because I barely had enough of them to complete it
Thank you for playing and leaving feedback! We had a bit of a rush to get everything in at the end as our scope was a littttle bit too big- I have been thinking of this game idea for a while now so I was little too excited to get all of my ideas in for a one week jam..... We will most likely fix things up after the jam and continue working on a more finalized version to release in the future. :)
Cheers!
I love the intro a lot, it's so goofy and the voices of the lemmings are funny. my problem is there's no restart button, but still, it's a fun and funny game! good job!
Thanks a ton, I'm glad you liked it!! Btw, there is a restart button :) Pressing R restarts a level, which is told in the note on level 2! I'm sure some players might have missed that note, but I wanted to explore the idea of leaving all tutorialization to the collectible notes around the levels.
What a fun game! I absolutely love the presentation and the gameplay itself is really addicting! It reminds me a lot of the flash and mobile games I played a lot when I was younger. Great job with this one!
Thank you so much for playing! I am so glad you enjoyed our submission! :)
enjoyed the bouncing mechanic a lot!
Thanks so much for playing! :)
thanks im a big fan of the nados from chasernado
Presentation is on point here! I think limitation is a bit lacking, but like thats just a nitpick. Amount of content y'all put in here is crazy. Good work!
Thank you for playing and leaving a comment! I am so happy you enjoyed our little game— cheers! :)
