This one is really strange for a jam entry ahah. I feel like there's something very personal buried in this, I can't quite figure out. Neat & intriguing game! AND gooood luck on your Dissertation~!

Thanks! I'm currently working on a Internet game server and client I wrote for coursework, it's a mega pain in the butt. I hope you enjoyed the game regardless of if quirkiness. Tbh, it would have made a lil' more sense if there were't some cut content. There's half a modelled 3D bedroom in the code somewhere.

I got some serious allegory of the cave vibes going at times. There are some really cool bits in this game. I did have a couple of hang ups here and there (one clipping issue that solved itself and one time where the camera panned away and I had to find myself back to it, though that might been intentional). I wish this could keep going, because I like the strangeness.

Developer

Noo! That camera panning bug is the game breaking bug I hoped to patch out. I'm glad ya like the strangeness, I would have loved to make it longer too. Though I think the strangeness is gonna be a running theme in my games going forth, life's too short not to be weird. Thanks for playing my lil' weird game!

Interesting game! I liked that it ended up being a psychological adventure, rather than a literal adventure. The 3D segment was weird and cool, though I had a little trouble navigating it at first. The art style is simple, but has charm and works well.

Nice work! I'm glad you were able to get this in within the deadline.

The art was something I was hecking anxious about, not being a artistic person and such. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Behind the scenes bit; the 3D section's lighting was initially completely different. But to get the 2D lighting, I had to choose between it and 3D lighting. It kinda works though, looks cartoony and like it's a artistic choice. Thanks for playing!

Jk, haha. That was an amusing story about fan characters. I think. :S
Developer

Hahaha, thanks! I tried to make the story a lil' confusing without being too confusing. There have a been a lot of games that I've liked, but the story has been all metaphor with no plot. Hope you still enjoyed it regardless! If you end up thinking about it later and have any theories about it, I'd love to hear 'em.

That was a lot stranger than I expected, but it was pretty good! It's a shame you couldn't finish it, but what you did manage to get finished holds together well enough.

Developer

Thanks! It's a shame but most of the core ideas are in there!
