This was pretty fun! I thought that the setting was pretty cool and I think it was a pretty interesting choice to set here.  I wish there were a couple more abilities that we could choose from using, just cause I was expecting to get more after fire breath. It was pretty short overall, so maybe it wouldn't change much either way, so perhaps it's nothing to worry about. I liked the dynamic between Flor, Azuli, and the staff though, it was pretty funny seeing them try to convince Flor that she wasn't a murderer.
Thanks for uploading!

You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it!

I was planning for there to have more abilities to pick up from magic enemies, some of which you would need to look for, but then the deadline started to come closer and ended up only implementing the Fire Breath.

Really happy to see people enjoying the character's interactions! Thanks for the feedback!

for someone that doesn't like rpg maker games, I can say that what I played of it, it was more entertaining and well made than most. I quit on the first random battle though, cause who has time for that.

I'll take that as pretty high praise!

Replacing random encounters with wandering/fixed enemies sounds like a better idea too. Thank you for the feedback!

Human supremity absurdity, oh well. Spell names are fun. Music fits well to the action.

"It's dangerous to learn too much."

Overall I had fun playing it.

[Spoilers]
I can see the air thing becoming a reallity in an strange future.
The "happy land" thing is hilarious.
I love how Azul is just worried about Flor
The ending is a bit rushed but I can understand it. I though Flor would try to convince by some user choices but it didn't happen.  Okay in the end brute force would be needed anyway. This was MY expectations.

Thank you, glad to hear you enjoyed it! And yeah I was hoping to implement more choices but then I couldn't find the time before the deadline. Hopefully for a later version. Thank you very much for the critique!

I always have a soft spot for RPG Maker, so I needed to give this one a try.

Pros:

Everything works and nothing is broken (this early in the jam, a real accomplishment!)

The two party system is pretty well balanced.

I never got lost with where to go. I liked the little sparkles to act as a signifier.

The movement of the sprite battlers was great!

The interaction between Flor and Azuli was intriguing, but there wasn't too much there (mainly because it is demo! I say intriguing, because I think your longer version will dive in much deeper!)

The introduction of the Corptube plot seems like it will make a cool mechanic in future games.

Things I would like to see added:

I like the RTP and won't detract using it at all, but I do think using the RTP with screen flashes and tint lighting really makes the ascetics look more dynamic.

Some of the scenes transition very quickly while using animations, and I would normally let the animations play out with a 30-45 frame wait to give a little more exposition.

Overall a good submission and a quick, good impact! I've made a few magic girl games with RPG Maker with a lot of RTP, so seeing someone else do one with RTP was nice!

I look forward to seeing what you do with the game!
