How does your game fit the Magical Girl Genre?
Our game fits the Magical Girl Genre as our very own love interest is a Magical Girl herself! Yua Aoki, sorceress and Guardian of the Life Flowers! Though her powers are barely seen due to her dying, an ending shows the capability of Yua.

Which theme(s) do you pick?
We chose the theme, [Kitten] of [Great Fortune]!

How does your game fit those theme(s)?
Our story may not have a kitten, however in exchange, we do have a cute and loving hamster, Kyoto! Moreover, depending on your very own choices, you may be given your due of Great Fortune. In all cases? Maybe not.

Were the assets for your game made during the jam? Elaborate as you see fit.
All assets are original, except for sound effects were made during the jam. Discussions regarding the story, character design and theme were discussed after the themes reveal and before the jam started. (No sketches whatsoever for the art part before the jam starts)

I don't like reading, so having voice acted portions, even if not fully, made the the game so much more enjoyable to me. It is a bit long for something I'd expect out of a jam, and the backgrounds don't fit well with the characters, but overall a incredible visual novel.

Hello! I see you guys took a lot of effort making the art. Its nice to see the CGs because it accentuates the importance of that moments of the story,

I think you could improve the following aspect. Pay attention to how the UI, characters assets and background coexist. For example, when the Life Flowers are mentioned for the first time and the player can see one in the background, that flower is cut by the textbox. Also in the first image of the game (Atsuo talking on the phone), Atsuo has his fingers cut by the textbox and it look kinda off. I know you guys put effort creating this backgrounds so it's sad to lose those details.

This is a good looking VN and the time loop thing is interesting, although its a bit confusing. In my play session, since I left the VN on for a bit and went to do something else and came back and it had gotten to the time out ending, then playing it again it skipped to some loop part, so like I missed the whole time stone thing.

so suggestions:

a) have a reset button somewhere? so can start over from scratch. Or some option somehow

b) would be nice if you show some sort of way of showing the paths taken.

Great artwork!

We do enjoy us a good time loop story, it's a nice narrative device, so thanks for including it! When it comes to the story it would've been nice to see Atsuo gradually fall in love over several loops as he gets to know Yua more, as opposed to the more 'love at first sight' vibes we got here.

Overall a well put together visual novel experience!

Ah thanks you for the feedback. I'm still practicing my writing skills for now.

I wanted to make Atsuo looks determined on saving Yua. Well I mean still practicing.

I'm amazed by this. While I'm not the biggest fan of the love at first sight trope, I do enjoy way the story progresses and how you gotta restart the game multiple times to achieve the best ending. The sprite and CG artwork is by far the best part. The voice acting can feel flat occasionally, particularly when Atsuo has a rather casual tone of voice during a scene where he's dying, but it is impressive for a jam game to even have voice acting in the first place, imo. Really great entry!

Ah, thank you for the feedback. I never planned or originally thought on doing the love at first sight trope. But after loops and hoops in writing the story, I had come to a conclusion.

As for the voice Acting, it was last minute recordings. The VAs and me didn't really have time to discuss fully.

Again, thank you for the feedback.
