Really enjoyed this one whew the charts were pretty fun!

My rhythm game experience helped me finish this game; probably would have been pretty hard for other people.

Cute high quality art, cute story. Impressive to complete a decently synced and charted rhythm game for a game jam.  Judgement seemed a little strict, maybe skill issue. The songs were a smidge too long  for my personal taste. Very good work!

The art and the atmosphere are really well done! I love the aesthetics, the little polish where the characters would bounce around and react to you hitting the beat.

The songs sounded awesome, i loved listening to them.

The only issue i encountered was that the audio would desync from the inputs so there would be times where the gameplay would end but the song would keep going for a while.

Otherwise I loved the characters, the story, and the gameplay, well done :)

The main characters design is  really good.
Love the songs, and movement in the map.
I'm not good at rhythm games so It took me a lot of tries to get past the first 2.
I'll probably continue in the downloaded version.
Great game

Excellent art and music, and I love the character designs!  Unfortunately, I can't get past the first stage due to my hands not cooperating with the DF  JK key arrangement.  If it was four keys with no gap, or the arrow keys, I could probably manage it.    🤣

The keys that must press (DF and JK) feels random.

It is better use other keys, like QWER or the direction keys, that be easier of understand.

This entry is incredible! The art and music are fantastic, though my lack of rhythm prevented me from getting very far. Props to everyone who worked on this!

I like it a lot! It was hard as **** but I manage to complete it.

The character designs, graphics, UI and of course music was perfect. Good job!

Here are our team members thoughts on the game:

bagel: The art and ui was really pretty and I liked the character designs. I had a bit of trouble with the rhythm game, and there were parts where the health bar and the hit sfx would not line up, but all in all I had fun.

AJ: I really liked the aesthetics and I thought the traveling screen was really fun. There was trouble with trying to configure the timing setting.

Beautiful and well made game! I really love the characters and art in general. The story scenes, map, gameplay all looks great!

This jam is putting my rhythm-less self to the test... I'm not very good at rhythm games it seems. I could beat the first song, but the second one is trouncing me. But despite the challenge, I can recognize the love and care put into this game, and at all seems very fair.. I just need to git gud enough to beat it!

Anyway, despite my personal deficiencies, this is really awesome work!

You know a rhythm game is good when you look away and the wall starts sliding upward.
Y'all did an incredible job collaborating on this. All the pieces fit so well together.

This is a nice rhythm game. The music is good and the button input timing fits the music. It's really hard to do the timing for rhythm game (moreover in short period of the jam) but this game successfully pulled this off!

I also love that the characters have dialogue in the middle of battle, but sometimes it caught me off guard and messed up my timing. This is not a complaint though, so don't remove it. Maybe add more funny one liner.

Anyway, this is a solid game. Good job with this one!

Fantastic in every way! The difficulty curve is a little steep, but hard games are good too!

Thanks! We're glad you liked it! We had played around with the idea of including an easier difficulty, but ran out of time

my five starts in all great job! very nice game, with a little more time, it could be a game to sell.

Thanks! We really appreciate that!

Woah, a real rhythm game, and a good one! Happy to see something like that!

I would only wish for some modifiers, e.g. to reduce the speed of "arrows" or to turn on "practice mode" to learn the level without dying each time I see an unknown pattern.

Character design and general art direction are very good. And music is just right for this genre. Good job!

Thanks! The composers and artists did an amazing job! Yeah, those notes just kind of come at you. I think a practice mode would have been an awesome idea!
