Such a cool idea! Def a good party game to play on a couch or smth.

I do have some issues with it though.

First of all, the controls are a bit off for me. If I tap too quickly, I will miss out on the next action, could use some action queuing. This is esp important when you're hidden as you have to have a good understanding of where you move, and if the controls fail you then it's not your fault that you got lost.

The art in main menu is amazing. And then I get into the game, and it looks like it's low res. If the quality from the menu was in the game then it would be so much better!


But it's a good party game, gj. Would have never made a party game in a game jam!

Nice local battle arena. Thanks for having the bots option there, though I'm sure it would be way more fun to try this with friends. I love the colorful characters and arenas. Reminds me a lot of Bomberman games. Great visuals and polish. Good job!

I really really like the Japanese voice overs. 

You're a mad lad for integrating 4 player controls into one keyboard. Legit. I played with bots.

It's a fun little game that has the potential to be a good coach co-op game. (with additional add-ons & stuff) 

overall, well polished, no bugs & a unique concept.

You can add bots into your game in the character selection after pressing ‘enter’!

Nice game and amazing presentation. It fits the theme as well. It would be nice to play with friends. It is very fun to hide underwater and try to surprise the opponents.

Nice graphics. An interesting idea. Liked the voice acting. I played with bots, so it wasn't difficult. But it can probably be a good game for a group of friends.

The resolution of my laptop is 1920 by 1080, so the game was cut off at the edges. As a result, I did not see the whole map in its entirety.

Clean and pretty game! Love it!

It would be interesting to see if players were given control of when to dive (whether directly or indirectly) or if there's a clear indicator of when or why the dive happens.
Otherwise, a great start to a game potentially filled with party fun!

Edit:
After another playthrough, I think I get how players can control when to dive, albeit subtle and indirectly. Great party game! Would love to see it be built upon :)

PROS:

- Taco dive is delicious

- Multiplayer

- Super Cute

- All Assets work together well, sound, art, anims, color, UI, japanese girl, gameplay mechanics

Cons:

- No Cons just additions

Additions:

In world powerups to encourage getting out and vulnerable, risk reward type stuff.

Actually one thing to note after playing the game with a friend more seriously.

The submerge and surfacing is hard to control, and the best strategy we found is just not to use it at all.
