Fun game! I included it in my LowRezJam compilation, if you’d like to take a look :)

You know, I never thought I'd see this little thing on a video, thanks for playing Jupi! :)

I think this looks really nice but I had to stop playing cos of the controls. On a mac if you press control and left/ right at the same time it changes the space you are looking at - so I kept switching to my code editor :S

I'd switch to something like the space bar since that's nice and big and can be hit fast to spam the sword into the enemies.

Well that was an oversight on my part :P Got to admit I didn't even think about what it might do on a Mac so thanks for flagging this up! Keep finding that it's really easy to overlook the most obvious things.

Thanks for having a look at it though, sorry it didn't work as expected!

No worries - it's hard to plan for everything :)

Great job on the graphics. My main complaint is the lack of sound and how crazy it gets when you have more than like 2 monsters on the screen. I would have reduced the "quality" of each character and reduced their size slightly so that it could be more clear. It gets very hard to see what's going on. Additionally, the difficulty ramps up pretty quickly which is fine, but since it's very hard to target (hitboxes aren't very clear) it seems a little bit unfair.

Nice job on your first game jam!~

I'm absolutely chuffed you took the time to play it! Thanks very much for your comments also, very constructive and useful for the future. It's kind of nice now knowing that I've got a base to build something far more interesting from so I'll keep at it in terms of improvements.
