Thanks you all for the feedback, I'm glad you liked it, unfortunately I ended up with an idea that was too complicated for me and didn't went for something more simple.. I am working hard to bring various enemies but cant make the enemies do their own stuff... Even if I don't finish the game for the jam, I will have something that can be called a game in the future.

About the platforms, this is not that much of a platformer game, this is more like a side scroll game with some platform here an there, I put these for testing the controls and jump heights, because that will be important to jump over enemies and hit them in the back, dodging bullet flames / arrows, and getting a important item / lever.

So yeah, it is too much for this jam, and so much little time... whoops. :P

Looks good - and controls feels nice too - i like it --- platformer level kind of frustration at some places (like TMNT1 on snes)(low space to jump with "roof close to head")

Good pixel art, well done

I hope it'll be finished! I like the artwork, especially the character sprite. I think the platforming is a little bit too much, but it can be balanced by less platorms and more other elements, like enemies, powerups, etc... Pretty good start! Keep it up!

The sprite is very well done! It needs more to be complete but great start

Great start! I like that you're trying real gravity there. Maybe up the gravity and the launch velocity just a little to make the jump feel snappier? To take it to the next level, keep a variable that tells you how fast you were moving horizontally and when the player let's go of the left/right button in the air, keep adding decreasing portions of that sideways velocity. That sideways "tail" movement makes jumps a little scarier, and so a little more thrilling!

Keep at it ^__^

It's a great start and really nice sprite work - definitely finish this one!

I like the art!
