Fun gameplay that was intuitive to pick up. Controls were super tight and made me want to jump back in after a game over. Great job!

Extremely cute style with beautiful sprites. Took me a couple goes to get the objective, but it wasn't long until I was shifting lanes, shooting on target, and racking up tons of points. Very enjoyable and great feedback/juice.

Graphics look great and game plays very well. I feel that some more variation might be good. The game felt a bit monotonous to me but I guess this is just that type of game.

The presentation as a whole is off the charts oof. The graphics are amazing and so is the audio as a whole.
The general gameplay loop is fun as well, although I have one major problem with it....
I'm not really a fan of how much it relies on randomness
Or rather more specifically, I wasn't really a fan of the random chance of whether or not you'll find a pink orb after shooting an alien or a barrel. Most of my deaths were because I was searching for a pink orb but couldn't find one in time.
Still, the game is very fun regardless. Great job on this

I think you’re right, we could probably tweak the randomness a bit to make it feel more fair.

Favorite game I've played so far from the jam. super fun. super addictive I want to keep playing. it's small and arcade like but still unique it's the perfect formula for playing over and over! I love it. great art, sound, and game feel too :) does running into cactuses take away your stamina?

Super cute and simple gameplay! Really my only gripe is the thumbnail. If you could make the text slightly smaller to show off the cowboy and cows more, I think it will draw more people in. The sprite work is very appealing!

wow, it's just as fun as it seemed from the gifs you posted during development! there's a lot going on but it's still intuitive. definitely 5 stars for this.

It so chunky and cute! Its super intuitive (part because of the amazing art). Just cutting to the game over screen is a bit jarring, so a little loss animation would be super. I would also love some more juicy sound effects. But all in all, this is a great submission!

Yeah totally agree. The sudden game over bother’s me. A proper game over sequence is at the top of the list of post-jam nice-to-haves. Like, maybe a freeze frame and some feedback on what made the stamina run out, animation of the character passing out, game over sound/music. Something like that would definitely close the gameplay loop more neatly.
