I played your other game, Delayed Defender, and just...man... two games... both are really good games. Really, well done! I think both of your games have really interesting mechanics and are totally different in every good way. Yeah, this game would have benefit from having sound, but the fact that you took on two projects and got them both to near completion, is amazing by itself. Great work. I really enjoyed these.

Liked the idea, had a hard time understanding what was going on. I think sound would help a lot with figuring out what was going on

This game is so fun! It is a little bit slow, and the lack of sound didn't help in that regard, but the gameplay makes up for it. I loved experimenting with spells while building my army of cannons. The different enemies make you stop and think for a bit before just casting spells haphazardly. I can definitely see a full game with this mechanic and different kinds of characters, enemies, and machines. Great job!

I had a ton of fun with this one! The gameplay and artstyle reminded me a lot of Master of Magic and it holds up really well when compared to that. I also like how you were able to communicate what each spell did without the use of any text. I also found the use of multiple colors to make the lower resolution font more readable to be quite clever (I was trying to figure out how to do the same with my game and just opted for a pixel font I found online instead lol). I do wish there was sound as that would've amplified the experience, but even without it I enjoyed my time with the game a ton!

It took me a while to understand the gameplay, but then it was fun :D green enemies are really tiny, and being the field green as well, they are not so visible. I like the concept anyway, well done :)

I appreciate you bearing with my lack of tutorial. I certainly could have tried to explain the game better on the webpage itself. I was just foolishly hoping I could make it intuitive through visuals.

Based on the color palette I used, I probably could have made red orcs. Or something easier to see on the green background.

Glad you liked it. Thanks for playing!

Awesome little game! Managed to complete in 2nd attempt (1st one I didn’t build any machines :DD). I like how with such a little game there’s still plenty of thinking that needs to be done as well as strategy. Well done! Would love to see this idea expanded upon.

Great to hear! I was worried difficulty creep might have set in by the end of development. I have had the game idea tucked away and it is one that has stuck with me. Now that there is this lil' prototype I can reference. I may 1 day look to iterate on it. Thanks for playing! And commenting!
