Great! The idea is funny and the gameplay is entertaining. The game is pretty hard - my best score was 5 nights (written after two tries). It's nice that you can grow not only offensive and defensive flowers, but also equipable weapons. There's only one problem - instead of enabling fullscreen mode on the itch.io website, you implemented fullscreen into the game settings. Fullscreen on the website would be definitely better... Otherwise nicely done!

Thanks for the feedback, I just enabled website fullscreen and it seems to work normally

Not normally a fan of tower defence games, but I did enjoy this. Good graphics and choice of music!

Really fun, nice job! I survived 10 days without paying taxes, a noble effort but like others have mentioned, I think the wizard should have to pay taxes.

I really like the core mechanic of needing to allow your towers to grow. It added a great balance of putting down short-term consumable towers (like cacti for immediate equipment) and long-term towers like the poison and bomb towers. Lots of good ideas and depth here to explore, you did great! The music is also excellent. Great work!

Unfortunately I couldn't get it load on my Mac with Brave browser - it just freezes my browser :(
See screenshot of browser console. Had to kill the browser tab to recover.

Very cool! I like the concept of a garderner-defense game. Really original and well executed. I don't know that I needed the NPC there - the right click menu would have been more convenient to start the night. Still, really cool! Looks great. I REALLY liked the night theme - is that the sound font for LTTP? Really nice.

Great take on survival/tower defense. It felt very intuitive once I figured it out! Would love to see the concept expanded upon!

nice game mechanics, would have like a slightly faster pace

I really like the funny premise, and the mechanic of waiting for your towers to grow is a cool and fun mechanic that has potential too to be developed even further. The music and sound design also worked really well to capture the dichotomy of the day and night cycle (reminded me a lot of the Kakariko and Dark World themes from A Link to the Past).

I noticed a bug where the screen stays red after being hit by a monster. Other than that, it was a lot of fun and had interesting mechanics. Great job!

Game took a bit to load. Story line was presented. When I clicked “skip” the browser beach-balled and crashed (didn’t leave a rating cause I couldn’t try the game). I’m on Mac and tried playing the game in Chrome.

Really love the soundtrack

Cool idea! I like how the mage runs around with a flower to attack monsters. Growing your “towers” works quite well.

I only lasted for 6 days but it is better that way. A mage shouldn’t evade taxes.

Funny theme )

Nice job with the limited palette! Monsters and trees look great!

I love this concept! This was great fun, with a nice range of towers/plants available and some interesting tradeoffs to consider between price, utility and how long until the plant would be usable.

The enemy designs work really well, especially the bat which repeatedly managed to catch me out

I got busted on day 7, but was proud to have remained a criminal for so long :)

Really cute game, loved the art! Wish I lasted longer, but the flying monsters showed me I need to get good :')

Very nice, I love the concept. The idea of your towers taking different amounts of time to grow as plants is pretty cool.
