Did you work in a team?
A solo endeavour!
Was the resolution a challenge?
Working with the limited resolution was good. It allowed for more focus on the gameplay and practically no time was lost sourcing, curating, importing, editing, animating (etc.) graphics.
What did you learn?
I'd definitely consider going 64x64 for future games.

Very cool little game! I love the main mechanic, having to switch to the matching color and being hurt by the un matching colors. If one played long enough to remember the order of scrolling through the colors they could get really good at this! The backgrounds looked great as well.
Good job!
Pretty fun for a few minutes.
The difficulty curve could be a bit better maybe? On easy it would it starts out with basically nothing on screen then becomes difficult very quickly. I little more time to build up would have been nicer I think.
Also power ups changing could be kind of sudden - died once or twice after the invincible power ended.
The backgrounds were nice though, and also liked the main menu music - would have been nice to have something playing during the game.
Thanks for the feedback!
Yeah, the difficulties definitely need to be overhauled. I didn't have anyone to play test and was short on time, so I kind of guessed at the values. If you get lucky early on (and with some practice) you can activate a bonus ball streak by collecting balls in quick succession. These power ups should make clearing the screen significantly easier.
You're right, the transition between some of the modifiers could be tweaked to make them less jarring. I might make some adjustments when the jam is fully finished.
Nice look and feel. Seems to take skill and quick thinking to rack up some good scores. I liked it
Thanks for the feedback! glad you got some fun out of the game 😊
Tried to play but the game requests admin permissions (and crashes if those are denied)... Looks cool though!
Hey! Thanks for letting me know. That is odd... I'm about to upload a new build that doesn't ask for administrator privileges. Must have been an oversight on my part.
