Did you work in a team?
No, solo developer
Was the resolution a challenge?
Yes especially to convey how to play, and since I'm not an artist to create all the assets.
What did you learn?
To create passable pixel-art, to create a decent gameplay with easy to implement levels. I just ran out of time, (started very late), but I can add new levels in a few seconds.

I feel like I did about as good as my actual dentist, except this hurt me a lot less. Fun/cute game with nice music and sounds. I had to scroll down on the page to see how to release the tool when I got to the drilling bit. For clarity might be nice to not show the other tool name when you mouseover it while a tool is already in your hand?
Thanks for your feedback. I thought about that too, unfortunately, I had to push this back as I realized only in the last hour that would be better not to show the tooltip like you mention and still had a ton of things to do to ship the game.
Thanks for the invaluable experience. I don’t want to be a doctor anymore! :) Cool game!
Thoroughly enjoyed your game, up there with the best submissions and rated accordingly!
Cool idea, I did like the "Open Wide" at the start each time! Kind of wish the levels were smaller, so I could go straight to the next level and try out more tools.
I'll echo others. Awesome concept. Love you you slowly introduce concepts.
I do wish the tools had a better indicator of which parts were the dangerous bits.
Really cool concept! Had fun playing :)
Thanks for the nice feedback. I'll definitely do something about the hitbox :)
Great concept for a game! It was very difficult to know where the tools were hitting on the teeth so a visual cue for where it's interacting would be helpful. I just went to the dentist myself and this was all too real :3
Thanks for the feedback. That was my inspiration, I was recently to the dentist and so was my girlfriend and the game idea popped into mind :)
I agree about the hitbox, I thought about making it visible, though not sure how that would look like. I'll think about something as I'd like to expand the game a bit.
Nice blood splatter effects. However was not really clear to me what the hit box of the tools were to clean the teeth without drawing blood, so I just held down the mouse button moved wildly over the teeth drawing all the blood :P
Thanks for the feedback. Indeed the hitbox is a bit of an issue because of the rotation angle, so it is not quite immediate to understand, you get the hang of it after a while playing :)
