Did you work in a team?
Just me, though CC0 audio was used.

Was the resolution a challenge?
Text was a bit of an obstacle -- I ended up making the dialog box take up the whole screen and paused the game while dialogue was on screen.

What did you learn?
This was my second game made in Godot, so I've learned quite a lot of Godot specific things. I think I'll be able to refactor and reuse a good bit of code from this jam :)

Very unique game! I included it in my LowRezJam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

This is amazing. I loved the idea. Superb mechanics. Camera makes things a bit hard. But I'm sure this was a challenge for you and you did your best. This is a very welldone game! I will follow your other works in the future.

I like the vibe of the game! Because the camera moves whenever I push the arrow keys, I started to get a bit seasick. Sort of good for theme, but harder for game play. Looks/sounds great, great use of everything. The concept is super neat as well. I'm impressed!

This game could have been really really cool, and it sort of disappoints me that the cannon wasn't easier to control. I love the charm and humor of the thing.

I would make it so you don't need to push the cannon to move it. If you could just move the cannon directly it would be way more satisfying to play.

Also give the player some time to get adjusted to the controls early. Enemies start flying at you from all directions right away, and I'm just barely catching my breath while figuring out how to control my guy.

A really curious mechanic, very original. Gameplay though becomes quite complex… the cannon movement is hard to control and I managed to get suck with the canon on the bottom side of the area left on the first bifurcation and even got the player stuck in the middle of the cliff tiles with the cannon standing on the grass just at the border in front of the character. Nice sound also.
