Can I tell you how much I appreciate having this kind of aesthetics in a Valentine's day jam?! I love the overall atmosphere in this game. It's 100% a vibe for me.

What I Loved:

  • I've already told you I enjoyed the aesthetics so keep it going! I noticed your other games have a similar feel to them. Keep developing this style of your because I'm a sucker for it.
  • It really felt like a date! Creepy settings or not, it felt like I was heading to the carnival to win my date some prizes.
  • The variety in the games was incredibly impressive. Also clever to use a carnival setting to introduce so many different mini-games.
  • That gun felt fantastic to shoot!

Some Suggestions:

  • I feel like this one always gets people during game jams, but watch out for grabbable object colliders that collide with players. It's so easily missed when you're working on so many things, but it can send the player flying across the world.
  • You may have benefited from scoping this project down a little bit and having more polish. I loved the variety in games and all you were able to fit into this during a week, but some of the games felt clunky. Three well polished mini-games may have been enough here.

A creepy little love story! Thank you so much for contributing to this game jam with this entry. I hope to see what you have during the next VR Halloween Jam!!! Cheers!

Of all the games in this Jam, this one felt the most like 'going on a date' of them all, with a meet-cute, some conversation choices, and then multiple activities prior to winning.  So what if we're all zombified dolls with buttons for eyes?   :)  The ball throw had odd physics, but I eventually was able to hit the cans, and the bow and arrow worked well.  When I returned to the ticket booth to claim my bear, I had done some sort of infinite ticket glitch, as the score seemed to be ever increasing.  I needed 50?  I have 600 and counting!  Boom!  I'll take the wagon, too, Lola's getting the whole store!  Kidding aside, there was a beginning, middle and end that included multiple VR interactions with a distinct style.  Good game!  Great job!

Quite an unexpected look and theme - but not in a bad way, I liked it!

Bit of story, bit of dialog and a bit of fair ground action - there's a fair amount in there to enjoy.

I did feel a lot of it was quite unfinished, but that's completely understandable given the time constraints, especially on a VR game!

I think I aced it as I ended up with 1205 tokens by shooting the bow and arrow through the spinning woman instead of using the knives - lol

Interesting visual style and atmosphere! I always suck at throwing things in VR but getting the needed amount of points was quite easy and straightforward.

I love it when jam games turn the theme on it's head! How cool to play a macabre type love game! Loved the models and the player character with full IK! Nice! I think all this needed was some sound work! Maybe actual tickets that you win that you can turn in for points and some comments from Lola on your playing would be great too. Such a cool entry!
