Weird game! The ending was very odd! I think that with some feedback when you hit the enemies and a better UI would dramatically improve the experience.
I liked the visuals and it was fun,but it has some bugs
Overall Nice Job!
Interesting game and I really like the setting and the effects. It's quite fun to play and simple enough to jump right it and get started. I did run into a few bugs, and the game crashed with my first attempt.
But overall, really nice game! Good job :)
Ending was pretty shocking! You clearly put some effort into the final asset (don't want to give it away in the comments). Probably you were low on time, as is the case with game jams, but some feedback when you successfully hit enemies would have been helpful. I was never sure if I was effecting the sentries or not.
Hillariously creepy ! Loved the ambiance of the game ! Was definetly not expecting that ending.
The gameplay is really original but the controls are a bit weird. (especially the aiming)
The visuals looked nice but the interface could use a little polishing.
All in all, really cool game ! Good work :)
Interesting game. I think it's a fun play but found the controls a little frustrating at time. I got caught on a few walls and struggled to figure out what was going on for a few mins. Good effort though.
I like the ambience created! I feel like the player controller needs some reworking, maybe having the player follow the mouse position and the player just needs to press down 'w' to move (might be more comfortable). More user feedback would be nice, so more sound effects. I would also recommend changing the music to a more ambient / atmospheric track (personal opinion).
fun to play! easy mechanics, somehow i still don't know how the ame actually works because i just turn of some lights XD and also, it lags so much when you get close to many people, but that can be optimised, cool game!
Nice concept I like how you interpreted the theme! Good job!
Was quite hard to figure out what's going on sometimes because the game is so dark
But still, well done!
As it stands, I didn't find the core gameplay loop of capturing citizens and bringing them back to the start all that fun, but I do think it's a very interesting take on the stealth genre, almost like Assassin's Creed assassination missions but with escorting involved. I think there's definitely something there for further development.
The audio clips were hilarious, I was not expecting them haha. Game was a bit (graphically) dark which made it harder to see what was going on, but wasn't too bad. Overall was quite fun, and definitely an interesting take on the "Connection" theme!
Just good game. Well done
Liked the art, Sfx as well. Was a little to much dark, was not able to distinguish environment.
Good job.
thanks! I made the music and the sound effects, and that was honestly one of my favorite bits!
*Spoilers* love a good game genre twist, made me bust out laughing. my feedback is about picking up the guys. I was shooting them on accident for a while. I think some visual feedback when you get close to dudes letting you know you can grab them would go a long way. I think more voiceover when various things are triggered would be funny
Thanks for playing! We actually put a feature in to outline the people on red when you can grab them (you might have seen it, but it stopped firing consistently on the build).
There are dozens more hilarious audio files from Baker that I wish we had time to put in. He recorded some great stuff.
I appreciate your feedback and I’m glad you liked the game!
Ummm... I must admit... I am very confused?
Beginning section was interesting! I liked the lighting effects and the sentries were cool! The idea to make it so the civilians could help one another to stop you from kidnapping them was really interesting!
The second section was... interesting? Not quite sure what to say about it lol.
I didn't really know what to do so I just kinda spam clicked the enemy.
Cool game though, good job chief!
Ha, yeah. Turns out complex animations are… well, complex. We appreciate the comment and hope you enjoyed your time playing
