I love the idea of this. I think having a deck to present someone when they're old enough is a magical thing! A game that lasts a very long time - I would be excited to know what one might do with the deck once it's full; if you have and ideas or frameworks there!
Hi hello and sorry for the late reply! The outcome of the game is intentionally left unwritten because ideally the player would never want to see its end. Life's milestones can extend far into adulthood and beyond.
As for what can be done with the deck, that depends on what kinds of cards are included. Could be tarot, playing cards, Yugioh, Pokémon, etc. Maybe a child can end up with a vintage meta deck or a poker deck rigged with seven aces. A lot of games use cards which fit the playing card standard size so you might be able to create a chimera game.
My personal ideal would be to use the deck as a tool for reminiscing in the way you would a home movie or photo album.
