This game made me think. I don’t get the main point of the game, because it’s Asteroids and it’s a kind different thing. Did you want to make your own version of Asteroids? I see you wrote about a simple take on a timeless classic, so maybe you wanted to create your own version of Asteroids. It worked, it’s playable, it’s quite fun, but even playing the game I had other questions that makes me think. I played the Windows version and I lose two lives at once on some asteroids, is it normal or a bug? Also I die randomly, even if I am at a center on the screen, anyway improve the spawn of the asteroids (putting them more far then right on the center of the screen) and I don’t know what you made two weapons that do the same thing. Also, I would have preferred to keep the screen wrapping for the asteroids too. For the rest, it’s not a bad game, but a game which can only improve from here and now (I would make the spaceship more spaceship for example, also I would add some spaces between the phrases on the game over which tells you the results and the results themselves). Keep it up the great work :)

Pretty simple game in a lot of aspects. Controls are easy to understand and the art is clean. I feel like it wasn't rich in features and difficulty wasn't high as well, however it was polished enough for its scope and I haven't stumbled upon any bugs. so bonus points for that.

Linux executable fails with error:

Error: Couldn’t load project data at path “.”. Is the .pck file missing? If you’ve renamed the executable, the associated .pck file should also be renamed to match the executable’s name (without the extension).

UPD: I used the .pck from the html build and it worked.
