Longgame Tech Innovation Jams are about promoting interesting, innovative art (especially with Lisp) and sharing it (especially open source).

It's a week long, then a week to vote on the submissions.

The jam focus for LTIJ1 is time.

Categories

There are 3 categories: Innovation, Lisp, and Open-source.

This game jam is about developing fun and interesting mechanics, promoting and encouraging Lisp, and public sharing of art.

Devving with Lisp isn't required, but there's a prize for highest-voted innovative Lisp game. Lisp is a fascinating mathematical macroing language.

"Open source" doesn't have to mean that anyone can use it, just that it's publicly viewable. I personally like the license of "you can use this art in any project for any reason, just please provide a reference back to the source". An example of that is essentially 0BSD or the Unlicense.

Prizes

There are 3 separate prizes, one for highest-voted in Innovation, one for highest-voted in Lisp, and one to a random Open-source submission.

To be fair, the prizes can overlap, so a single person can potentially win all 3.

Each prize is $15 for innovative games of your choice from Steam/itch.io/GOG/etc. Examples of innovative games: Braid, Portal, and Induction. It's up to you!
