Welcome to the Lewis Game Jam 2020!
This is a game jam made for students of Lewis University
Use the theme above to come up with a unique idea for your game! Whether it be represented by the mechanics, story, or somewhere else in your game! Submissions will be judged on how much your game adheres to the theme. The theme isn’t purposefully a bit vague to encourage you to get creative with it!
The Lewis Game Jam is a week-long challenge to see what games participants can develop within the allotted time-frame. Participants are welcome to group up, or tackle the challenge solo to test their skills and make any type of game they can imagine!
Entries will be judged based on a 5-star system following the criteria below:
Graphics & Presentation
How well was the game visually presented? Does it have a nice art style to it?
Playability
How well does the game control? Is it fun to play? Is it possible to complete the game?
Creativity & Concept
How original is the concept of the game? Does it do anything unique with the genre? Does it have any interesting features or mechanics?
Adherence to Theme
How well does the game follow the jam's theme?
Awards will be handed out to Best Individually-Produced Game and Best Team-Produced Game
