Nice fun game. Somehow it’s quite hard. I grew up on Pipe Dream (and in late 90s even made my own clone) and I don’t remember getting “all the wrong pieces all the time” :D I wonder if giving a bit more time at the beginning, or better, slowing down the heart, may give a more interesting result? I remember there was a lot of fun in making very complex constructions and combinations. Here I just rush to “meet the goal”, not getting bonus points for re-using crossroads or hitting capricious pre-set tiles, e.g. one-way ones. Still a valid game design solution, just a bit different than that sweet nostalgic feel from DOS era :)

This is definitely a prototype, but when I get the time to sit down with it one day of work can add a lot of features and nuance.
One thing is calculating score for unconnected pieces and such, which will open up different kinds of challenges other than "make a long enough chain". I'm working on getting some HMTL5 framework done, so people don't have to download an entirely new build for a puzzle or two.
