With a theme unveiled at the outset, you'll have four exhilarating days to bring your ideas to life, culminating in a showcase where you'll dazzle the community with your creations. But that's not all – impress our esteemed panel of judges with your game's marketability during the final pitch session and stand a chance to win prestigious awards! The game jam lasts 72 hours (about 3 days), however, on the final day, a prototype or the presentable build must be presented for judging.
- Theme Release: The theme will be revealed on the first day of the event, randomized and announced alongside the participants.
- Asset Usage: Participants are permitted to use public domain assets or commercially bought assets, including codebase assets.
- Project Creation: Participants must start new projects on or after the opening day; using old projects is not allowed.
- Tool Usage: Any game engines or frameworks are allowed for development.
- Submission Platform: Projects must be submitted through the provided itch.io game jam listing on the closing day.
- Team Formation: Participants must form teams with a maximum of five members; solo participants and incomplete teams are considered.
- Build Requirements: Submitted builds must be functional on web-based or windows-based platforms without external dependencies. Any platform like Android, iOS, MacOS, and any Linux Distribution is welcomed.
- Submission Deadline: Projects must be completed on the final day for judging. But a prototype or a presentable build must be created for the game pitch before the final day.
- Gameplay, Demonstration, and Voting: Each team must prepare a pitch and game demonstration of their game for all teams to see; no restrictions are placed on the presentation format.
