Interesting adventure. I like the coherence of the illustrations and the general dark theme of the adventure. Also good ose of verticality in the isometric map. Great work.
I was really impressed by the Aspect of Greed and how it draws so much conflict and ambition from those who come to Bellspire. There is a very cool, constant feeling of doom and decay, and the idea of someone cracking the Stone of Sorrow is very exciting! If anything I would’ve liked to see more morally ambiguous choices, or perhaps some that would nudge the players to make the “right” choice, and end up helping the Aspect all along :)
I think the artwork in this adventure is really nice. The cover drew me in, and the charcoal-sketchy images throughout give it its own unique vibe. It’s easy to read and the random tables provide a lot of variety!
I really liked the warmth and danger of the cover The art for the map and the lichen knight were both excellent, really all of the illustrations were.
I wouldn't want to work in the camp... Which makes it a great place to drop players into.
You did a good job of keeping a consistent vibe, it all feels dangerous. I also liked that you included resolutions for both if players accept the aspect's deal and if they refuse, as well as the scenario changes that occur on returning back to the camp.
I found myself misreading the names for the swamp 'Bellmire' and the cathedral 'Bellspire', it might be helpful to write each in a different font or a different color.
Good point - if I ever do flesh this thing out I'll certainly implement your suggestion. Thanks for the feedback!
I'm impressed at how much content is jammed together in such a short page count. Love a good ruin you can only enter into from its roof. All killer no filler.
Thank you kindly! Appreciate it.
The narrative hook in the introduction is gripping and compelling, it made me want to read the rest of the adventure. Love the little NPC generator at the end as well, that's a nice touch.
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.
