I liked the art style of this game and the movement was fantastic.  Very easy to navigate the platforms and obstacles.  I especially liked how you utilized the little red guys on shorter platforms - clever! Pretty good sound effects too.  I liked the collection sounds more than the music ( which

I agree with Incanta Games on the checkpoint system.  And I would have also liked to see some more variety in baddies or things collected once I was a couple stages in.  I was excited to get to where I was going, but it started to feel endless after a few stages.

All in all, I enjoyed playing the game and think you did you a great job!

Sound design was great! Nice game, I was a little confused at first but I might just be a bad gamer lol. However a little more of an explanation would've been welcomed! :) Really liked the artstyle and the game though, its well made! :)

Nice game! Liked the movement, loved the music, sound effects were all satisfying! [Now nitpicking on smaller things since the game is pretty good] It seemed a little generic as far as the theme goes, but 🤷. Would have liked a checkpoint system, even if it was just at the last coin collection so I didn't need to start all over when caught; this is as simple as instead of resetting the level after the caught timer, you just move the character to the last coin position, which you could set on coin collection.

Small bug I'm guessing you're aware of: I can recollect skulls if I die so I could have as many skulls as I want haha. Not super trivial to implement as you'd have to keep track of which skulls were collected rather than just how many, and then destroy the skull on level restart if it was already collected. Not that much more difficult though than your persistent skull counter.

Nice quality game, thanks!

Cool little game! Collecting coins was so satisfying I didn't even care when I got caught and had to do it again. That coin pickup sound you used was fantastic! Great work on the audio. Controls feel very smooth, but I would've loved to use that little sword he carries (maybe you can? - I hit a lot of buttons to try haha). I also wish there was a way to look downward just a bit before jumping down. I often fell right on top of an unseen bandit's head and got caught - they seem to like standing in those corners. Your art style really emphasized the dungeon feel, great job with that! I felt cramped, but in a good way - like I was on an adventure and navigating through a creepy place I'm not welcome. I don't even know how you warped the screen like that, but it was an awesome touch! Overall, great job!

So much to love about this game. It's so easy to figure out what to do, and it's simplicity is what makes it great. Each level feels unique and well thought out, and it's a lot of fun exploring the level to find all the coins in order to advance. I think I would've liked to see some new mechanics as you get further in the game, since each level is ultimately the same, just ordered differently. The music also gets a little bit repetitive. I did love the pixel art, along with the glow around the player. I'm not sure if the world was actually curved or not, but it felt like it and it was a great effect. The game probably could've fit the theme a bit better, since I didn't really get "Sun and Moon" vibes from it, aside from the small bit of text of screen. Overall a really great job, good work!
