albeit I was a bit confused at first I had fun!
to not repeat what comments said below, great choice of assets! and a great Idea that adheres to the theme!
the game lacks a bit of polish but that is to be expected for such a short timeframe,

solid entry, great work!

Developer

Thanks, I'm glad you figured it out in the end

I appreciate that you two give him helpful tips for godot and the game itself, from my site it is simple but it can be really enhanced and there is so much you can do, music, animation (I liked the movement of the key) and so on, keep it up! I didn't noticed a bug

Glad it worked for you!

I wish I would have had time to add some sound and music and more effects, too.

I'm glad too :) I also wanted to add music but ran out of time

Your game seems to use the same assets as ours (Our Game :Dream exploration) I have some suggestions for you,

 1

You should add some animations to make your game less boring.

2. I don't know what I'm going to do in the game, you should give me some guidance to tell me the goal and how to do it.

3. The sense of operation of the game is not very good, the arrow keys are not suitable for too many people, I recommend you to use "WASD Space" to build your input system.

I like the animation that follows when you get the key, and I wish you good work and fruitful results!

Developer

Thanks for the ideas!

I think the game would be good with some animations and some instructions on how to win. There is a controller input, but I know many people have to use keyboard.

Very nice game! Congratulations :D

Fits the theme very well, good length, I liked that the jump had a short and a long version. The touch of the key following you is very good.

Some tips:

1-When you use pixel art on godot there is a filter that blurs the sprite. Look how to disable it, is very easy.

2-When you make a platformer look for coyotee time and jump buffers. Simple ways to improve the feel of the controls.

3-Use the limits properties of the camera2d to avoid the player see outside the gameworld.

4-Try to make clear the method about how to advance the level.  Is quite unclear how it is currently.

I hope you find one of these tips helpful for you.

Great work! :D

These are great tips thanks! It was my first time using Godot so I'm hoping to learn how to implement all of these.

Great it helped!!

I have been using godot like a year. I am no expert at all, but if  you have any question I will try to answer it if I can.
