It's fun! But I'm not so sure I see much of the theme incorporated. I like the little details you've added, like stereo sound based on player position. But I also noticed that the ship upgrades never saved and the shop items are never actually bought (at least for me), and I was perpetually sent back to the first level. I like the concept you're going for but I think it needed more time. Good work on what you got done for it though :)

(Madeline) Thank you for trying it out! We ran into some problems loading/saving player data in the executable, classic problem of it worked great in dev mode and we didn't realize the problem until about 20 minutes till the deadline, hence us trying to hack it together so that you got to the boss by the end. The ship's growth algorithm scales on player level, hp, and shields, so unfortunately nobody gets to see it grow because the data doesn't save lol.

We'll be fixing it up over the next week or two and re-release it with fixes just in case anyone's still interested. Thank you for playing it!
