Very unique aiming idea. I absolutely loved the dialogue and characters (it's not my fault all the buildings are in the way Commander!). With some polish this could be a really good game. Different levels, win/loss conditions. Especially more story, I absolutely loved the writing. Great potential!

First thought: This will be impossible.
20 seconds later: I'm the master of this game.

Had a nice time playing it and mastering the aiming system. At the end spawn was too slow for me hahaha.

Gunny is the best name ever btw. You have a nice game here.

Unique mechanic! The addition of the story also added a lot of flavor. Unfortunately the difficulty of only being able to attack the enemies when the cursor is in the right spot paired with the enemies moving around erratically made this a bit frustrating. The game actually becomes a lot easier after you've destroyed most of the buildings haha

An interesting game, it would be really great if you could add something like an objective or goal. But other than that, nice concept and good job!

Fun idea. I liked that the level has some variety rather than having straight or circular roads.

Few suggestions that come to mind are-

1. Make all things in the level destroyable when player shoots at em.

2. When a house is destroyed, spawn a tombstone in that place (Tiny details add life to the game)

3. The cursor(?) thing moving about on the outer roads wasn't of much use since I used the mouse cursor.

4. Add more types of enemies with different behaviours and stats.

5. You could also add power-ups where if you shoot certain type of rare tanks, you get different bullets or abilities.

It's a nice game, and if you decide to add more assets and mechanics in post-jam version, I'm sure it will be even more enjoyable. Overall, nice work!

Thanks a million man. I am working on a post-jam version as it is, but these ideas, awesome

The concept is interesting.

Really liked that you took the time to make the cutscene at the beginning. Nice to see!

Took a while form me to realise how to play, some sort of tutorial would have been nice.
I also think the game would have benefited from faster projectile speed.

Was fun but got boring quick as there was no challenge or loose state

Remember, you can try the web version here : https://sciencej.itch.io/tank-blaster-web
Missed the deadline for this build by a few minutes.

I could only use the web build so I'm basing my rating of off that: At the beginning that cutscene that instantly reminded me of star fox was really fun to watch and wasn't intrusive so well done on that. If I'm truly honest though the gameplay get repetitive quiet quickly and for the browser build there's no audio and the visuals come of as fuzzy and I didn't really get punished for murdering the chickens homes. But I'm sure the game on windows, Linux and mac is probably better so this is kind of biased due to playing it in my browser.

This feels like a neat idea! Unfortunately the game jam time constraints seem to have hurt the fun a bit, a smudge more gameplay/levels could really gone a long way for this.

Nevertheless, well done!
