Neat game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the Kenney Jam, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Developer

Thank you for playing my game :)

I fell off the platform when first starting lolololol =)))) I thought there's "invisible walls" as always, that's why.

It's nice and fun, but I kinda have problem with the controls. Not really sure it's simply because I rarely play this kind of game or something else.

Overall, though, this is good. :D

Extra credits for the fart sound.

Dude, I really like your game! My favorite part is the sounds, but the visuals are also good.

I have a bit trouble with the movement, it needed to be a bit more fluid (Im really happy about I can choose between 2 control modes),  in my opinion projectile bullets are better, and more enemy with less health is better

But all in all, I really like your game, it is well polished, and fun to play. :D

(sorry for my bad english, Im a hungarian guy)

+ Loved the use of 3D
+ Sound effects were awesome, especially the creepy voice that the enemies have when they are triggered
+ Giving the user the ability to swap how the controls work is a nice touch
+ The arrow that points the way to the next swarm is very welcome and serves as a good call-to-action for the player... I may have to steal that...

- I felt like I was battling with the camera a lot of the time, maybe adding a right-click to rotate or something would help
- My bullets felt like they went through the enemies and didn't hit them sometimes
- Having hit points would be nice, when a swarm spawned basically on top of me, I instantly died
- Needs some action music!

A+ fart sounds!

Enemy variety would've been nice, gets stale quite fast.

Sound fx are very well done. Visuals are nice, cool that you can change your skin.

Submitted

A bit uncomfortable controls, but overall a very good game!) If you update it, I would like to see new types of weapons and mobs and possibly bosses in the future

Visual Effects are especially good

Really well polished for a 48hr jam entry! Gameplay was pretty nice.

Thanks for upload on twitter the state of the game during the jam.

Map is cool, i wonder why you have 2 sets of movements, if one of them is actually impossible to handle.

Shooting its a bit bugged if you dont click above the monsters.

Im missing bigger waves, items, different monsters attacks or more interaction with the enviroment. After all the job making a good map, shooting, movements animations, it lacks of what to do on it.

Overall is a promising demo. I wonder what you could be done in a smaller map focused more on the other things that complete the game.

Thanks for playing and for your feedback.

One is more advanced, but not impossible. I like the local axis (impossible one) better than the other. However, the whole player movement and camera movement is incomplete and needs more work.

It’s not really bugged, it’s design this way. He will shoot at your mouse cursor, so you have to aim for the enemies. I had bigger plans, which is why I chose this aiming style, but didn’t had time to implement them.

I totally agree and I was hoping I would have time to add boss, power ups, etc.

I understand and agree with your feedback, but I only had 48 hours to work on this game and this is as far as I could get in this short amount of time.

Great visuals! I'm a big fan of the muzzle flash of the gun. Well polished and overall a good game. I think it would've been cool if this game jam were longer to have different types of weapons you can pick up.

Thanks for sharing!

Developer

Thank you for playing and for your suggestion. I agree, the game needs more depth, power ups, bosses and so on.

It is indeeed fun and engaging, but I have some notes:
First of all, I'd have preferred a downloadable build, because it's a bit laggy on browser.
Also, for me it crashes after some minutes, but I haven't seen other people in the comments who had this issue so maybe it's my problem.
Good job anyway :)

Developer

Thanks for playing and commenting the game.

It’s the first time I hear it crashes, do you have the same problem with other Unity WebGL games?

Submitted

No, actually only with your game. I tried to play it again now to see if it was a temporary issue, but it still crashes

Lot's of fun and impressive visuals, really like the muzzle flash effect.

As others have said I did find the WASD controls a little tricky to get my head around. I mostly ended up  walking backwards to kite away from the enemies as the strafing was a little confusing.

Developer

Thank you for playing and commenting.

Did you try pressing C in game to change the controls from local to global axis? It might be a bit better.

Submitted

Played through again with the global axis controls and found it to be a lot more comfortable, thanks for pointing that out!

First off, the level, enemies, player, and commensurate effects are all very well put together! You achieved a level of visual polish here that is quite impressive. That being said, I would have preferred some of that effort had gone into more diversification of gameplay instead. Some progression in difficulty, perhaps some mechanics like dodging/rolling. The shooting was also kinda fiddly, in that it was a raycast to the mouse, not _toward_ the mouse with a constant length.

Overall, really well done! 😊

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and for your feedback.

Indeed I spent way too much time polishing, when there was 30 min left I remembered the main character doesn’t even die yet :D I hoped to be able to add more depth to the game, add weapon heat, power ups, bosses, etc but I ran out of time.

I’m not fully satisfied with the player movement, camera movement and aiming. It is like you say raycast to the mouse cursor, I made it this way because I was hoping to add other targets, not all on the same level..

Had a lot of fun playing this.  I found the controls tricky to get used to. The zombies exploding into farts is a nice touch :)

Developer

Thanks for playing and commenting. Did you try the global controls (press C in game)? It might make it a bit easier to control.

I had some trouble getting your game to start, but finally got it to work :) good job

Submitted(+1)

Funny and fun game, I love the sound effects! Super impressive how much polish you put in! Controls are tricky but that adds to the fun.

Developer

Thank you for playing and commenting my game.

Sorry for the late response, I just noticed I had played and commented your game but forgot to reply to your comment here.

Fun game! The controls make me feel a little sick though. I don't like how the WASD is oriented to your mouse, it doesn't feel right to me. I couldn't make out any of the dialogue. The pullet particles and sounds are all great, and it feels really polished for a game jam. The Aliens remind me of the Slitheen from Doctor Who, because they wear human skin and pass gas often.

Nice game, overall!

Developer

Thanks for playing and for your feedback. You can press C in game to change control from local to mouse to global, might be easier. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to add dialogue text, but the dialogue is written in the page for now.

Fun game, can never have enough zombie games ;)

Developer

Thanks for playing and commenting. Good job with your rage game :)
