This was a very original concept! Really liked the idea of searching out for those kaijus for clout hahaha, I think this game even where is at is really interesting, I know with the amount of time u had it was almost impossible to include all the polish you might have wanted, but overall great stuff!

Yeah, I normally like the entire last day for polish but we had so much trouble getting Billie to move along a path that we ended up having a little less time than usual!! I'm hoping to add a quality of life update soon, especially now that the jam is over.

Really glad to hear this, I was hoping to put it in a setting you normally don't see kaiju stories play out!
I'm planning a 'quality of life' kind of update to fix some things from feedback we've gotten and I'll definitely be adding sound effects to make the gameplay more satisfying!

Really wanted to pay tribute to New Orleans and it's almost mystical vibes. I like making MIDI covers for jams and it was kind of a hard choice to choose the music, just so many choices! But House of the Rising Sun is just such a great song with such a strange past (no one knows who composed it!), so it felt like the best choice, glad to hear it recognized, I was a little worried people wouldn't know the song!!
Also Born on the Bayou has been stuck in my head all during development lol!
