I think this was really nice! the player controlled well, the art worked nicely, and the music was fitting. The handhold system was really cool and a great fit for making a game about climbing up to kill kaiju. My main issue is that I had a lot of trouble with the way the controls were mapped. If I'm playing platformers using a keyboard, I vastly prefer arrow keys for movement, but with j for attack, space for jump, and shift for dash, I couldn't easily reach them all while using the arrow keys. I was able to beat the slime boss, but not the other two. Overall a lot of fun though!

Solid, and fun. The color scheme and art style are striking, and the gameplay/controls feel good.

Great job! :)

Great game, the character reminds me old (and I mean really old) atari console. Fun gameplay, only thing is the attack button, for me it's a bit cluncky positioned, even switching wasd for arrows. Still have to get all three bosses!

I thought the game was intense and high octane! the grabbing was really well done! Loved that mechanic! I can definitely see for inexperienced players it might be too intense, but for people who have played platformers before this was awesome! And it was different from a lot of games I've played before. Really loved the multiple levels like a mega man game! If it had more story and some more art assets, score or achievements, this game would be super addictive! XD great entry! Loved the music as well very fun and energetic!  The knockback was the only unpredictable thing that made it a bit too difficult at times, but I realized there is a strategy to each boss and that was fun to figure out!

The character's movement felt really all over the place and imprecise. The invincibility of the dash also didn't seem to be all too helpful in evading damage. The levels, while short, also don't feel like they were made for this game, as every pitfall was inescapable but didn't instantly kill the player, making me have to just sit there. Bosses 2 & 3 also felt really rough as the knockback I took either forced me to take damage or just wasn't enough for me to reach safety.

Honestly, the game feels like it just needs some fine tuning and  more time. I can say with certainty though that the music was great and it kept me around.

The character felt a bit too floaty, and pressing shift to dash is pretty awkward. But overall a fun time.

Keep up the good work!

Really solid platforming and beautiful visuals.

The platforming is tricky but fair.  Cool concepts using the holding and weak points in the boss fight design.  Minimalist art design is great and gets the point across.

Minor gripe: it'd be nice if the camera position was interpolated between pixels as it makes it a bit bumpy in higher res.
