Didn't have time to get to this one during jam rating, but this is awesome!! It's a super creative project and has quite nice graphics too! I really liked the approach to using a narrator in place of informative display text, I think it adds a lot to the game's uniqueness. I would appreciate some kind of indication as to where buildings can and cannot be placed (perhaps highlighting the to-be-placed building in green or red respectively when hovering over a certain area?)

Also, kind of a funny bug, but once I completed the game, the narrator looped into saying "one of the buildings has depleted all of the resources around it" continuously until I closed the game.

I really loved it, another hit from Rava!

This was cool! I'm sure it wasn't easy to get the dynamic narrator. But it adds a lot of charm!

This one caught me off guard, this is really really well done. The voiceover was so good, and the dynamic voiceover blew my mind a bit when I heard it. It's pretty tricky to do and implement with that high a quality, so congrats! That, and then the story and presentation was really charming. This is really good. I also got softlocked but was able to finish it, thanks for putting that cheat in there to help out :)

Thanks!

Yeah, this is basically a pile of meticulously-crafted tech, aaand then I ran out of time to make the game itself better.

The narrator is pretty complex as you guessed. It's not quite perfect, but I like it a lot overall and it was a great learning experience. I ran into a lot of issues such as robots can't say "sky" due to the TTS, and had to write things in weird ways all the time, but overall it was so much fun to mess with.

It's capable of switching lines and certain words randomly, as well as counting to a hundred. I definitely like how it makes it sound a bit less "NPC repeating the one line they know when you talk to them" than usual (especially when clicking on the resources!)

Very original concept, enjoyed every minute of the experience! The voice over was really cool it really reminded me of games from the 90's that were so much fun! The resources were fun to manage, and I loved the narrative. Excellent job!

Very cool concept and I love the vibe of this game, but I don't think I ever got the full experience. At most the foot only showed up twice and I got trapped in the building menu. My guess is that I NEED to spend all of my materials, but due to only having 1 wood I couldn't afford anything or get more wood due to the structure getting crushed. Probably not a good idea to make the buildings that produce a specific resources need a lot of that resource initially because I just never had any wood.

The game is unfortunately softlockable in the current state, as you found out, as there's no lose condition.

I wanted to add failure narration for such cases, but ran out of time to do all the necessary checks. (e.g. "The peeps didn't think of the long-term consequences, and wasted all the precious resources gathered.")

Each level you have to build the specific buildings to progress the story. But the game doesn't prevent you from building farm/farm/farm instead of farm/lumberyard/mine, for example, so you can run out of the necessary resources to progress.

There is a cheat button in the controls ([Enter] adds +1+1+1 resources) for this scenario if you want to just listen to the tiny story.

Presentation is great, but I have no idea how to play. The game never takes the time to show the player how to play, so I never got to any playing.

Keep up the good work!

And here I was thinking the game was too much of a tutorial. It starts with a single interactable button on the screen and a huge red flag pointing to it, and then expands from there on out.

the narration, art and music is fantastic, great work
