Regardless it was a very fun game.

The controls felt right, the gameplay was fun introducing more and more enemies overtime. It was polished to feel like an actual retro game. Even the sfx felt nice. The only thing that could've been implemented is music, even PICO-8 music could work or 8-bit. Just to add that touch. It still felt like a very nice game though. Good job.

If i understood well, main idea is that you can't collect coins and even jump a lot, in order to not increase the heat level. And if it's really what you meant - i am amazed. That's awesome not only to dodge from your enemies, but also dodge from "bonuses" and try not to jump so much  too. Liked it!

Yeah, by introducing the heat mechanic I wanted to encourage different approaches to the game. For example, if the player collects most of the coins, kills most of the enemies and so on, traversing the level would be much easier. But due to the heat rising faster, the level must be completed in the shortest time possible. If the player, instead, tries to avoid anything that could raise heat, he won't have any hurry, but at the same time traversing the level will be way harder. I'm glad that you liked this concept!

Hey ! I am D3nX from DreamVeloper team ! So I just played your game and almost reach the end, but the monster got me, too bad ! Seriously your game is pretty fun, the concept is really cool and the graphics even simple looks very consistent ! However the lack of musics and sounds (I heard only a few) make the experience a bit less immersive and the graphics are still pretty basic.
However I think the game is really good overally, I love it !
