Thanks for the feedback everyone!

I definitely agree with everything that has been said. Unfortunately my lack of consideration for time constraints, and eagerness to begin development, led to a mega short game with several unnecessary mechanics; this is definitely a lesson learnt for future game jams.

But oh well, I'm glad I was able publish something in the end!

If I end up managing my spare time properly I might continue working on this just for the fun of it, or a project similar to this.

Agree with comments below - you have lots of mechanics in your game, that player have no use to learn. It will be cool to see more complex level-design, that gives sevel opportunities to use your features in every level.  And it would be great not only to show all mechanics, but to teach player, how to use them.

Liked your art a lot. This cut-scene is really minimalistic and short, but it tellsa stiry well. Good luck!

Woah, super cool intro scene. So many complex frames, great job. That would have easily taken me a week... The gameplay was pretty cool, but I didn't find myself using any of the special controls, other than f to open doors. Would've been cool if the crouch and push controls were somehow more useful. I found the best strat was to just run in, spam shoot and kill everyone, it might have been more interesting if the optimal strategy was to wait, plan and strategise, rather than just blind shooting?

Really AMAZING pixel art and traditional animation!  Super Cool.  Would be cool if controls were taught in game, I had to alt tab to the game page to figure out how to open the first door haha.

Great job! Please check out my game 'Heatwavy' it's a platformer shooter~
