• There are a couple interesting elements here — I like Cryptic Mimicry a lot and The Green Abounds is a neat new support feature — but most of these traits just aren't super evocative or are borrowed from another ancestry, which makes the wodegrown hard to judge on their own merits. (I feel like Bloodless deserves a reflavoring compared to the revenant text...something about bark skin or sap blood?) I think it's a missed opportunity to relegate the signature solely to choosing size, and I think granting Heroic Resources on an ancestry trait is a huge no-no, especially as swingy as 1d3 per round! There's some juice hidden in here but I just feel like this ancestry doesn't stand on its own. I really liked the cover art, the watercolor style was super neat!
