It's a scary game and I got lost in it.

Nice game :) you could try lowering the brightness of the flashlight at close range, it's kinda really harsh.

Developer

Thanks for the comment. Initially, the player was brighter because the flashlight was also bright, but then we made the player less bright and did not change the flashlight.

Nice work! I liked the overall mood, and the switching between candle/flashlight/gun was great.

I was totally surprised when I realize that thing that I thought was a bush was an enemy and I was supposed to shoot it. It looked so nice. And then I shot it.

I managed to light a couple candles, but didn't know what else to do. I think a little more direction at the beginning would be nice.

Overall, I'd say a good start to something. Although, after the jam, I might remove the candle idea and focus more on the flashlight/gun, and maybe add something else. A blowtorch maybe?

Fun game and nice implementation of the candle object. I did notice that if you are to close to the candle the gun won't fire and you can get swarmed by enemies pretty quickly.

Developer

Thanks for playing. Yes, as the game design was somewhat kind of a panic horror vibe. So we wanted to make the player move quickly.

I'm sorry I've tried three times now and I can't find anything to do besides the buildings.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for trying the game for 3 times! Can you share how tackled the game? And what did you mean by “besides the buildings”?

Submitted(+1)

Well, I assumed the things around the map are buildings. I couldn't find a way inside or anything resembling an enemy. I really had no direction on what to do or where to go

Developer(+2)

We acknowledge the absence of more discrete instructions and it is unfortunate that we didnt have time to implement it.

Buildings are just static models for environmental purpose not really for gameplay.

Regardless, Thank you for your feedback!
