How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
You are a Captain and have to deliver your freight in time. In order to do this, you need to increase your boats speed with the Gear. Unfortunately the river is dangerous and a high gear also causes a high risk, so you need to adjust the gear depending on the situation.

I like the management aspect of the game. I enjoyed having to manage the boat's speed, fuel and control, as well as patching leaks that occurred. I didn't get much use out of the navigator, as it was too out of the way from everything else - As you need to manually adjust your view with the navigator, you need to slow down in order to benefit from any information gleaned from it. It may be more beneficial if it gives a zoomed out view of the boat's immediate surrounding's instead, or moved slightly closer to the control.
The UI needs a little polishing up, but is fine for the purposes of the game jam - I liked having the dual view of the boat's surroundings and the interior.
I did encounter a peculiar bug where my boat sailed through land when at gear 3.
Overall, a fun management game about shipping.
Thank you a lot for your Feedback! I totally understand your points and try to work on them.
The bug with sailing through is from what I know caused by you moving up and down against a part of grass without much corners. It sadly exists becauce my collision is based on the autotiles and I didnt had enough time left to create collision by hand.
An all around great game, I especially liked the screen shake. Aside from some obvious things (font, some tweaking) I actually think there isn't much to criticize here. Great job!
I really liked the split-screen layout, it was a really unique perspective for the gameplay! I also really liked the multi-tasking nature of the game and the touches of screen-shake also made the game feel very polished. The timing of the music starting when you set sail was very satisfying and added to the great sense of adventure the game creates!
The visuals were really good and worked well, I think possibly a more matching font for the text could have helped keep the aesthetic more consistent, but that is a very small detail in what is overall a very well made game! I had a lot of fun playing, I really like it!
Thank you a lot for the positive feedback! I sadly had to cut a lot of corners in terms of graphics in order to develope it in 3 1/2 days, especially in terms of animations, Y sorting and the font. But I am glad that you enjoyed it regardless!
This would be a cool co-op game
Nice !! I agree with the previous commentator as well.
