Complaints:

1) There's no way to speed up Bob. Having an option to speed up the level would've been much appreciated, and taken a lot of the waiting out of it.

2)The game took a while to register that I had completed a level.

3) I know you already talked about this, but yeah, the missing level manager definitely impacted the game significantly.

Compliments:

1) Cool and interesting puzzles. I like that you were able to add quite a few different mechanics, really kept the game interesting.

Ok I know there's only one compliment that I can think of, but in a puzzle game, level design and variety in mechanics are by far the most important things, and you nailed that, so good job!

(Also, did you by chance take inspiration from the Snail Bob game from forever ago?)

Developer

To speed up bob, there was actually a way, just to keep the Spacebar pressed! And the registering the level win, that's also tied to the level manager, sadly. Also, YES! It's inspired by Snail Bob, it was a nostalgia trip for me!

Neat flip mechanic. Loved the additions with the movable platforms to put into gaps too. Puzzles felt well balanced for a short project like this. Two main things I'd loved to see would be checkmarks for completed pipes and the ability to turn the caterpillar around!

Developer

Thank you so much! Yeah, due to a bug, it didn't show checkmarks and the level manager was missing, a true pity! Thanks for playing anyways!

Cool puzzle game ! I like that the mechanics are easy to understand, good tutorial, nice levels. One thing is that sometimes it felt like it was taking a lot of time for the game to realize Bob got into the pipe.

Nice entry !

Developer

Yeah, that was another issue tied to the missing level manager! But thanks for playing!

This is a really cool concept, I really like some of the levels and puzzles you've made. The credits say there's supposed to be music, but I don't hear anything. Overall a good job, and I can't wait to see where you take this if you decide to continue working on it!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! Unfortunately, in the rush, I compiled the game without putting in the scene the Level Manager (you were supposed to see one level at a time, and actually be able to WIN levels) and the AudioSource, which was on the same object... sigh. It happens, I will probably upload it fixed as a separate file so people can enjoy the game fully!
