I couldn't get it to load :/
Unfortunate, because the idea for your game sounds a lot like mine!
Sadly, I did not quite get how to start a game (with or without other players). It does look very good and the UI and audio are also really cool.
Maybe if you could explain how I could get it started?
You create a public or private lobby and click the start button in the lobby view even if there’s only 1 player it will work as single player having you shoot for both teams. Adding a single player button that skips some of that would be a good idea though
That would be perfect... You sometimes have to assume the worst in people understanding what to do, I guess! I'd like to see the update when you'll have put the single player button in, keep in touch!
I wasn't able to find an opponent but played a few rounds against myself. It plays well and I really enjoy the unique pucks they add some fun strategy for sure.
As for making it more enjoyable, my thoughts (in no particular order):
- Single player mode
- More unique theming: The current theme is sort of bland and doesn't really fit the unique pucks. I think something like a fantasy tavern or something with a little more life would really help this standout more.
- Different game modes: Doesn't have to be anything radical, just something to add depth and variety.
I just tried loading on Firefox and Chrome, but got stuck at 90%. Could be on my side, but thought I'd let you know in case it is a consistent error.... I'm lazy and impatient! Thanks for the heads up, I believe it is just slow and not stuck, because the build is 130mb and the unity loading bar doesn't communicate it's still working on downloading assets. I need to optimize the game further and make more assets load in asynchronously to get that size down but just haven't had the time
You were right! I was just being impatient!
