The concept is fun, but the game itself is too hard in my opinion, mostly because the AI can get a massive heads start in the beginning sometimes. However, I did enjoy playing it (at least what my casual-ass could pass).

I don't know but i found a bit hard somehow! But even our game i got that feeling, i guess i'm not a good player! I loved the concept of the game! It spent a good time playing it! Congratulations!
I WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON :O
This took waaaaaay more time that I would like to admit.
But, I figured out the start!
That aside, the concept is i n s a n e!!! I loved it. And I gave you 5 Fun stars for a similar reason - Playing this concept made this a very challenging, interesting, even mind-provoking and unique experience!
The music's great, and I adore the choices,
but the SFX tend to be a bit too brash and repetitive at times.
And the art is probably my gripe here. A lot of dissonance between different assets, fonts and typography that could use some work.
And the fights' animations are very simple on their own - All buildings have 0 animation and VFX, except for the turret, which has its projectile be a very simple wavey slide.
I like the writing behind this, though..! Quite a lot of text for a T.D game, and I dig it - It doesn't force you to read it, either!
This was fantastic, Gray Hato. For a one man army, you were fantastic.
Keep on fighting,
Blawnode.
I appreciate the compliments and feedback. Thanks for playing until the end. Congrats on beating the game as well. I didn't know if anyone would or not.
I'll look into randomizing and perhaps reducing the amount of SFX during gameplay.
As art is not my strength, I'll take your comments to heart and look at making the art more uniform. As well, in a future update, I'll make sure more things get proper animation.
Thanks, buddy!
So I tried. I really tried. Maybe I just suck, but I feel the game is overwhelmingly unfair even on easy mode. I only managed to beat one level (the easiest one) in easy mode. I think it would have been fairer if either you had more resources at the start or the enemy also had some resource limit. It feels like the computer never runs out and you can't defend yourself against its ever growing attacks because your resources even with the production thing increase way too slowly and before you can even afford anything to block any of its attacks, you don't have any hp left. And even if you manage to put it there, in one or two blasts you already don't have it anymore.
It's a shame because the idea is so interesting and cool !
Again, maybe I just suck. But I think the game would really develop its full potential if at the very least its first level was fairer. Still it's a great concept, go for it if you're brave !
Thanks for the feedback regarding the difficulty.
I should add a tutorial or perhaps easier first level as well as perhaps a different way of balancing things.
The first level can be beaten by using only 3 attack structures, roughly half of the starting resources and no other structures. I thought the game might be too easy but it must be because I built it from the ground up. I'll have to consider rework and a different sort of balancing to allow a wider audience to enjoy it.
I really appreciate your comment. Thank you for the trouble shooting as well! The stackable buildings was a known issue on my list to fix, but I didn't get around to it (was hoping it wouldn't occur too much during the jam haha). I'll have a version with it fixed uploaded as soon as the jam judging period is over.
